Again in this photo to others I've seen the face is the main focus, he's using the hands and the rest of her body to frame and bring attention to the part that shows the most amount of beauty. The reason there is not clothing shown in the image is because I think that Lovegrove is trying to create a more neutral atmosphere in the images, so the makeup is enough to highlight the beauty of her face but the naturalness of the rest of the image creates a relaxed set.
Even though this is another close up photo it feels completely different to the first image that I had chosen. The angle is more straight on making the image more direct between the viewer and the model. He has also left the image in colour which I like as the neutral skin tone matched with similar background colour gives a little hint of natural beauty. The minimalistic amount of make up used on the eyes and lips furthers the beauty aspect.
I think that the model that he has used in these images already depict a type of beauty that all audiences can agree with. I feel that the shadowing on the image highlights the bone structure and gives the image depth with the indents in her body. I really like this photographs and feel that it is a really good representation of what beauty is because it feels accomplishable for the viewer.
Influence-
Lovegroves type of photography will be a really good influence on my shoot because the beauty element is present easily noticeable. I would really like to shoot in the style of the first image because it is extremely interesting and there is so much I can do with angles, I also think that using different models in that style will show a wide range of beauty rather than just using one model.
Conclusion-
In conclusion I rather like the overall feel that his photographs give and will be really enthusiastic about shooting using the same style as what Lovegrove has done. These images show beauty in a clear way to me and cannot wait too show this in my work.
